the kid
Just want to say a big thanks to Mark at SFLgroup, for the training session on mixing techniques today. It has been one of the few courses I have been on and have come away thinking, "right I know what I am doing now, lets go and play with it some more". So much so next term I think I am going to have to get the students having a proper play with some of our kit (oh wait that's not my job :D ) But unless anything untoward happens I defiantly want to be doing the music show/s at work with minor help from music tech. I would really recommend it for anyone who knows nothing about mixing, but also for people who know enough to make it work but want to know a bit more, and give them that push to make sure they are doing the best job they can do with what they have. Rob_Beech
ALL the courses from SFL are well worth it. Whether you are wanting to learn about a specific bit of kit like a digital board, or learn the basics or learn about rigging etc they're all well worth going to. the kid
Well somehow I think I might of convinced my manager to go on it, plus another 2 people. The down side is that it makes me want to "borrow" kit for experimenting now.
minty
I think you did very well to get that lot to pay for training! I never managed it when I was there.
