Fleeting
Hi, I'm looking for a circuit to pulse (well slowly fade up and down rather than flash) a 12v 50w lamp. I have looked at all the usual suspects for a circuit ( maplin, quazar electronicsetc) to no avail. Does anybody have a suggestion where I might find one. I have thought about a 12v motor controller, but that means that you still have to turn a pot up and down. Thanks in advance. Ian. Ps. If you want to know it's for a pulsating pumpkin for cinderella. Jivemaster
Depends on your skill set! Wireless DMX and a micro on the desk is one option, A 555 clocking a 4017 with some diode logic to generate a neo sine wave with lots of LEDs or lamps. KevinE
NJD do a small self-contained dimmer with wave function called the Wavelight. Its 240V but it will run transformer loads so can drive a 12V transformer if necessary. wavelight
