Matt Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 we seem to havre an extremely large (almost worrying) amount of gender benders in a 5 litre tub in our lx box, other than, my own collection of XLR's and tools - and a projector somewhere
Andrew C Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 More or less as MikeR. Add; Test CD & cassetteSpare A1-223 bubblesCheap multimeterString (never know...)lots of scrap paperCouple of phono & mic leadsEMO dual DI boxIEC and Telefunken leads Stock of mainly Kodak 35mm projectors (one Simda), 3M and Sony data projectors, OHPs galore, 6x8 fastfolds (front & rear project) & a Bose 402 based sound system for portable use. On the back-back genderbender issue...has anyone ever had the right one in any cicumstance?? :)
James C Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 ...Cheap multimeterString (never know...)...Surely the string is useless unless you also have two empty tin cans (each with a hole in the botttom) in your kit :)
david.elsbury Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 On the back-back genderbender issue...has anyone ever had the right one in any cicumstance?? I got *HIGHLY* frustrated at school yesterday. Doing a Sri Lankan gig, had to send another return from the FOH desk to side stage (our snake has 4 returns. yippie) and the 2 gender benders we own had gone walkies.... grrrr I would have had the right ones IF they had been there... -david-
Pete McCrea Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 No highs no Lows, must be the Bose..... Little ditty I once heard.
IanG Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 No highs no Lows, must be the Bose..... Little ditty I once heard. Full version: Hear no highs, feel no lows, sounds like crap, it must be Bose. We all know what Bose stands for too - Bring Other Sound Equipment :-)
themadhippy Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 dont knock bose, ive heard there speakers sounding rather nice on 2 occasionsthe first was in a dutch cofee shop, the second involved petrol and a naked flame
Matt Posted April 18, 2004 Posted April 18, 2004 chord amps and 802 sigs for me for those who know what they are though I think the 805 sigs are far more accurate, and look better in my mind, but lack bass a tad, so they need a decent sub to go with them, but still, they will always be better than bose though no-one has them in a theatre...
