ekul1978
just a quick question - the butterfly clips on my pearl flightcase are quite loose and one is pretty much knackered. just wondering how easy it is to replace them? luke
niclights
Very easy. They are standard flightcase parts. Have a look at a main supplier such as Adam Hall. Find the right one, drill out existing rivets then fit with new rivets.

JDP
Its fairly easy to replace them. You will need to drill out the old rivets, obviously being careful not to damage the case, then simply put the new rivets in. You will need a rivet gun, and you can pick these up for less than £10 inc rivets in your local B&Q or DIY store. Also, its advisable to use safety glasses through the whole process, as metal shards can fly up all over the place during the drilling and riveting activities. Replacing the catches is around a 15 minute job all in, and providing you are reasonably good with your hands a fairly easy job.
