sleepytom
Hi I have some cases which need new foam but I'm having trouble finding good supliers online. Can anyone recomend anywhere to get hold of 50mm Plastazote Foam in sheets rather than custom cut (and thus really expensive) - I'd also like to know of anywhere which does cnc foam cutting for a reasonble price (the places I've tried all wanted £150+ for a very simple cutout shape) cheerstom
paulears
cnc in anything is expensive - I used to have loudspeakers built for me - but the setup costs were very similar, but it did take a long time to convert my drawings and calculate layout. probably take ten minutes to cut your foam, but a lot longer to program it. niclights
Adam Hall sell plastazote in sheets. I found cleanest cuts could be done carefully with angle grinder+slitting disc. Obviously this might depend on what you are trying to achieve!
p.k.roberts
Hi Tom, I know you asked for an online supplier, but as you're in the London area, it might be worth giving Pentonville Rubber a call; http://www.pentonvillerubber.co.uk/home.html
