Tomo Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 A wax crayon is even better - that writes on almost every surface and even works underwater!

James Posted April 2, 2004 Posted April 2, 2004 The last two show I did that were not called, I found that I didn't have to use my (paper) script once rehersals had finished. I do sound and recently have started designing on SFX. One of the features of SFX is the ability to asign notes to each cue - so by typing whatever is the relevant cue means I have the dialouge/stage direction on screen. My paper script is still the best way of designing, having with me at design meetings and taking notes throughout the design / rehersal stages. But when the show is fully plotted and programmed I type the notes in. I find this is better as, if the talent get lost - when I'm on paper I can miss them if they skip a section and give my cue early. However this does rely on them ultimatly getting my cue right. James
