iamchristuffin
Hi Guys, Does anyone know where I can get a programming key for a zero88 Sirius 24/48? We've found a Sirius, and want to use it in the junior school, but there is no programming key! zero88 don't have any, so does anyone have any bright ideas?? TIA Chris
J Pearce
Every man and his dog had sirius keys a few years back, so you might get lucky on here. Failing that ebay, or if you're desperate get a screwdriver and a soldering iron and swap out the keyswitch with something else.
cedd
I might still have mine, I'll have to check. In which case I can post. I'd quite like one back but if you want to have one cut and post me it back that's fine by me. I'll have to wait till I get near an old sirius to check which one of the 12 keys it is, if I still have it at all.
Soundie
I have one in a desk, and one spare (which I want to keep for emergencies). I could pop into a key cutters at the weekend and post you a copy. Does that help? Jon
Suzette
Have you tried White Light? they used to have a few keys in stock - may still have...

Modge
I have known a play plotted with the top not screwed onto a Sirius, so the programmer could lift the lid and disconnect reconnect the relevant wires!Clearly wouldn't recommend that, but replacing it with a suitable knob should be fairly trivial. gareth
He's had several offers from people willing to send him one for free, or at most the cost of postage - how much would Zero88 charge for a key?!
Kevin Robertson
I have not touched a sirius in years... I wonder when I'll take the key off my keyring?

gareth
But surely it's academic now, anyway - as already discussed, Chris has received several offers of (almost) free keys. So no need to pay full Z88 price for a replacement, surely?
