Bryson
I also have some string. Can you tell me it's approximate length? ;) What do you want the frost to do? What lamps are in the pars? How far away from the pars are the performers? What makes you think you need frost at all?
Jamtastic3
I have 4 par 56 - shortnose, 500w MFL. Basically they will sit at the front of the stage to fill in the shadows of the FOH lighting for the bands. It's kind of the same setting you see at gigs and on TV (TOTP eg) and I notice that most events use frost in them which would help give a nice soft fill. Stu
You want something heavy, perhaps something like #114 or maybe even something a bit heavier like #100 or #101. I also quite like a stretched silk such as L228 which will stretch the light along one axis which can be quite useful with floorcans for covering maximum amount of the stage.
