The compression drivers are physically identical to those branded as P-Audio, so they could come from the same factory. Dunno about the woofers - pressed-steel basket China specials as far as I can see. Incidentally I'm told that upgrading the HF drivers is a very worthwhile upgrade. Apart from the weight, the upper-mid harshness is the only thing that lets the B1220/F1220 down, considering price bracket of course. Pete.
