  1. Its that time of year where we look to bring on a extra member of staff to assist our in-house team during the busy summer months. We are looking for a competent and hard working individual who will assist on many of the day-to-day tasks including equipment prep and check-in, maintenance, deliveries and collections and help with setups on site. We are not looking for a super-skilled technician who is expecting to be out in the field everyday but rather someone who is happy 'mucking in' with whatever is relevant at the time. This role would ideally suit someone who is nearer the start of their career and looking to gain more experience in different disciplines. This is a full-time role but on a short, fixed term contract of approximately 4 months. A full UK driving license is an essential requirement for the role. Start date : end of May Expected finish date : 27th September Location : Edinburgh Salary : £17,600 pro-rata plus overtime CV's and covering letters to jobs@livesystems.co.uk
  2. Bit odd that. Although I know that these things can be misinterpreted during the conversation.

Anyway, if you DO need any other info regarding Fohhn then you know where to find me.

    Best wishes,

    Steve

  3. Hi Steve. It does help, thank you.

Interestingly the Fohhn dealer I spoke to said that the powered speaker was the only way to go. I think I took it literally.

  4. The Dimension 610 is really an entry-level dimmer unit (retail is about £300) and the circuit design will not be as good as say the Paradime 6x10a unit. Our rep from Lightfactor has stated before that the 610's are fine for lower load applications but can be more prone to problems under high-current loads. This seems to be what you are experiencing. Perhaps ask your supplier if you could trade-up to the Paradime 6x10. Yes, its double the price, but a much better engineered unit. Steve
