Portable/Distributed Dimming

Whitelight have a range of single-channel passively cooled dimmers that fit on the yoke of an S4 par - I saw them at the Hog2 training yesterday but I can't remember what they were!

Tiny things - about 6 inches long, 4" wide and 2" deep (inc heatsink).

Seemed a decent dimmer, although I wasn't paying much attention to its response as I was more interested in the Hog!

CCT also offer the Freeway system.

The load per channel is not as good as the alphapack. The radio control option could be useful for some places, though...

Have toured these dimmers & they are very nasty - electronically & mechanically (especially when used with the CCT Freedom lanterns), would steer well clear. Don't ever try to get a Strand 500 to talk to them...

This appears to be an ever growing problem.

Two years ago I built my own 6 channel (2KW p/c) pack, mains in one end and socapex out the other and a radio link for the DMX. Its small and it works but can can I get a manufacturer....
