eviltwinemma
New user, new danger... Does anyone have any up-to-date contact details of places from whence (oo, posh) I could hire Audrey (4 stages) and the Dentist's chair for LSOH? Dates are 29/11/03 - 06/12/03 - short notice I know but it's only just really gotten the green light. It's for a school production in Cambridge. ;)

James C
Hello Emma, and welcome to the Blue Room! When I was at school, I'm sure we got hold of assorted LSOH plants by getting in touch with the publishers (is it French's? Can't remember), who knew of companies that loaned Audreys. 50's Dentists' Chair...hmmm...National Theatre? Ours came from someone's dentist-dad who happened to have an old one in his garage! I suppose you could try a couple of local dentists, in case they keep an old one at home for personal use!
Bryson
These people have some (which, once upon a time, I have operated...) they may be a bit too far away for you, though.
Peter Russell
I think Mountview used to have these in their props inventory, at least they did when I went for my interview that was some time ago. HTH, Peter.

eviltwinemma
Wow, thanks for the responses so far - this is really great. I tried mailing the Really Youthful Theatre Co but the email bounced ;) I think there are a few kids at the school whose parents are dentists, that could be a route worth pursuing... I'll post back with progress details!
