Olit
hi I was wondering if anybody knows where I can get a supermarket style "Bing Bong" from. I have searched high and low and just haven't got the time to sit in tesco all day with a condenser mic in me hand. Any help much appreciated. :o No need for the dirty great big font. Yorkie
Might I suggest using either a glockenspiel with a mic, or a some Midi software?
Rob_Beech
As yorkie said. to add...I'm sure there must also be samples ready made out there if you look around. Rob
Bryson
Our tannoy makes exactly that noise. But can you bothered to come to Newcastle to record it? Thats the question.....
Malcolm Gordon
To echo Yorkie: I have recorded a glockenspiel played with a rubber mallet to produce an "Avon calling" front door bell. My choice was G to D# (downwards) but you could select anything you preferred. One assumes that Preston College has a music department, if you can find a quiet moment to record.
