Jamtastic3 Posted December 10, 2005 Share Posted December 10, 2005 Hey all,In our venue we have two types of truss, one set lines the back of the stage, whilst the other is fitted above the main space. The only problem is that each of them is different and won't fit one another.I was just wondering how to know what size of parts to get and how to know what kind of truss I have in the venue.(we have the tri stuff - 3 poles that make up a triangular prism) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
johnhuson Posted December 10, 2005 Share Posted December 10, 2005 Most truss has a manufacturers plate or sticker located on it somewhere, with their name, length and sometimes also loading data about the truss. Thats the best advice I can give, other than looking at the most common truss manufacturers websites to see if you can find something which looks like. Some common manufacturers, in no particular order:- Total Fabrications Slick Systems Tomcat Prolyte Thomas Optikinetics - Trilite Litestructures Hope that helps!
