  1. Hi, When using the control menu to send a lamp off command do you hear the relay click? If not this may well mean the relay has got stuck and a careful tap should free it. If it consistently gets stuck on it is worth replacing the relay (available here if required: https://www.movinglightrepairs.com/products/martin-05000006-ic-relay-12vdc-20a-250vac-single-omron-g4a-1a-e) With the pan / tilt issues if replacement drivers do not rectify the issue (they are the NJM3772 pictured here: https://www.movinglightrepairs.com/products/martin-3772-driver-chip-new-njm-pbl-njm3772-pbl3772) then it may well be due to other component failure on the motherboard. When replacing do note that the pan / tilt chips are not orientated the same way round as the other motor driver chips (check the specific IC socket for correct orientation). If you need help with this just let me know (direct email is dennis@movinglightrepairs.com). Alternatively have some refurbished good condition motherboards available here: https://www.movinglightrepairs.com/products/martin-mac-500-motherboard-main-pcb-mac500-control-card. As others have said it is important that if the fixture has damaged the motherboard that this is rectified otherwise a replacement motherboard will potentially fail in the same way. If you need any further help just let me know. Kind regards, Dennis
  2. Hi Nick, If you need any help with assessing it just let me know. Kind regards, Dennis
  3. Hi Nick, Which make / model of LED Profile are you having problems with? Dennis
  4. Hi Chris, It sounds like the pan feedback is not working correctly and may well be due to dust build up. If you need any further help or would like to book the unit in just let me know. Direct email address is dennis@movinglightrepairs.com Look forward to hearing how you get on. Kind regards, Dennis
  5. Hi, Have you tried contacting GDS? Have found them to be really helpful with technical support in the past. Kind regards, Dennis
  6. Hi, Whilst not directly related to your post whatever storage bag / case you decide on always make sure the location they are stored is free from cold and damp. Time and time again we see kit that is stored in a place where damp has got in and damaged fixtures. Hope this is of use. Kind regards, Dennis
  7. Hi Bob, As you have had the lantern for a number of years it would be worth making sure all of the lenses are sparkling clean as dirt / grease build up on these will cause the image outputted to be less sharply focused. Also if the gobo fitted is made of steel these can warp with use; if the gobo is not sitting flat in the gobo holder you will get varying focal points when attempting to sharply focus. Hope this helps. If you need anything else just let me know. Kind regards, Dennis
  8. Hi, Have you owned the lantern for long or is it something you have recently purchased new / second hand? Kind regards, Dennis
  9. Hi Chris, From memory, yes the calibration values should be held between power cycles on these fixtures. Do you have a fixture that is not remembering values between power cycles? Kind regards, Dennis
  10. Hi Chris, Is this for any specific model in the Alpha range? Kind regards, Dennis
  11. Hi, Just to confirm have some refurbished Martin MAC TW1 80v dimmer modules available here: https://www.movinglightrepairs.com/products/martin-06100015-80v-dimmer-switchmode-mac-tw1 if of use. They are considerably cheaper than buying new dimmer modules. Kind regards, Dennis
  12. Pleased you have now sorted this. If you need anything else just let me know. If you wish to email directly the email address is dennis@movinglightrepairs.com Kind regards, Dennis
  13. The exact position required can be identified within the menu of the fixture. Select: ADJ --> HEAd --> ALL The fixture will then give the option to move all effects to the position required allowing accurate adjustment of the drive pulley on the shaft of the motor.
  14. Hi, Can you confirm on error code BT2ER; was that a typo? MAC 600 similar error codes are BTER and B2ER. Also if you need replacement shutters we have them in stock if required. Kind regards, Dennis
  15. Hi, Which version of Wizard Extreme software do you require, is it the latest version (1.4.0)? If you can confirm via email to dennis@movinglightrepairs.com should be able to send this over for you. If you need anything else just let me know. Kind regards, Dennis
