  1. Hi Dennis, Thanks for that. Yes I agree it's more like a dirty/damaged sensor. All he lighting kit in the venue is my own and I'm keeping Mac 250 entours and Mac 301 washes ticking along. The ex -hire Alpha beams were a new addition so I can see there are a few bits of work required to get them operating 100% I've bookmarked your website and liked your FB page so its easy to find you. And I will give you a shout if I get stuck. Thanks again Chris
  2. Hi Denis, Sorry I've been totally tied up with Independent Venue Week. I picked up 6 fixtures rigged 4 and one of them, as soon as it moves it doesn't return exactly to the to the home position( maybe 2 deg out) but when it s first switched on it starts in the correct position so I'm now thinking if it starts in the correct position it won't be a calibration problem. I've swapped it out and will give it a proper clean and check for any damage. Ill let you know how it goes. Chris
  3. Hi Dennis yes its the Alpha beam 300 Chris
  4. Does anyone know if I use the "Cal" calibration option on the service menu it holds the data after a power off or will I have to re-enter it every time I use the fixtures? Thanks Chris
  5. That's great Rob. That's given me a first point of investigation. I'm off on holiday from tonight but I will be on it as soon as I get back. Thanks Chris
  6. Hi Folks, Had an odd fault on two of my Mac 301's (odd because it happened to two adjacent fixture in the rig at the same time) The fixtures reset fine and they output light for a few minutes then they stop out putting light.(they still pan and tilt) I initially thought it was a data issue so I changed the DMX cables (and the power cables). I readdressed them and swapped them with other fixtures in the rig and the fault remained. There are no errors logged and none of the temperature limits have been reached that would cause an LED shut down. I have restored the factory defaults which made no difference. Any suggestions? Chris
