  1. Here is a new article about the issue on ProsoudWeb.com. Mac
  2. This is a pretty well known issue with most digital transmitters. Some mics are worse than others, Crown CM-11(?) headsets are about useless on digital transmitters. You might get some relief with a ferite bead on the cable. Mac
  3. If the master station of the comms has both SA out and PGM in you're done. Use the SA (stage announce) out as a line level sent to the IEM system, and the PGM in as a listen to the musical director. Mac
  4. Thank you! Always interesting to see how it's done elsewhere. The IATSE is an international union so there's a decent chance I'll bet. Cheers! HI Jesse. Retired member of Local 353 here. I've had many good experiences with your Local 16 Brothers. Worked on and around Broadway theater starting in the late '70s, currently specializing in corporate presentations and TV. Mac Kerr
  5. You would be fine with 2 passive splitters as long as you will only need to feed 2 diversity receivers. A passive splitter is not a BNC T connector. You want an actual RF splitter that covers the frequency range you use. You will also experience 3dB of loss through a 2 way passive splitter, plus maybe a half dB of insertion loss. A good choice can be found from Minicircuits, like THIS ONE. These will require short SMA-BNC adapter cables as they come with SMA connectors on them. Mac
  6. In Professional Wireless's IAS software both are available. All the settings for spacing and IM avoidance are the same for both, so yes. This assumes the frequency steps are the same. Mac
  7. When slides were a thing in corporate presentations we used X-Y PC lenses to correct for off center projectors. This was critical for aligning 9 on 1 or greater projector arrays. They are available in a variety of focal lengths. Mac
  8. Scroll down to example 6 of THIS NOTE. The other cheap option is a transformer balancing box similar to a passive DI used backward. Mac
  9. DMX cables are not only good for audio, they're good for digital audio, which regular mic cable is not. Regular mic cable is not recommended for DMX or digital audio, both of which require 110Ω cable. Analog balanced audio has no specific impedance requirements and pretty much any balance cable will work. Mac
  10. Can we assume you have tried known working headsets with it? Headset failure is far more common than pack failure. Mac
  11. It is clear in the guide previously posted that power+audio on pin 2 is optional. There is a selector switch to choose whether audio is on pin 2 or 3, making it both CC and RTS compatible. Be aware however, the "talk" button remains on the interface. You can listen up 40' away, but you must be at the pack to talk. Mac

That is almost always the case with almost any spec... Mac

    Bluetooth

The receiver can only tell your phone to transmit as much power as it can. That does not make the transmitter capable of high power. Mac

How can a receiver be "high power"? Mac
  15. Here is a link to a new thread addressing Dante network issues. It would be great if you participated on the forum I manage as well. We have an active community of soundmen, many of whom are network aware. Please drop by Prosoundweb.com.
