Aran2000 Posted October 18, 2005 Share Posted October 18, 2005 Hi, at a local drama studio, the stock of profiles consists purely of fixtures branded as Francis P650's. They're your standard 650Watt profile, with shutter blades, etc, looking very similar to a Pulsar 650W unit. From what I can gather they're at least 8 years old. There's just one problem. I'd like to be able to use gobos in them, and the Francis company, at www.francis.co.uk, seem to now purely build industrial searchlights! Consequently, I'm finding it difficult to track down a suitable gobo holder for the profiles. Has anybody ever come across these lanterns before? Any ideas? Cheers, Alex. Aran2000 Posted October 19, 2005 Author Share Posted October 19, 2005 Well, after a morning of emails and phone calls, turns out that the Francis profiles are now being produced by James Hutton Lighting and apparently take the same gobo holder as a CCT minuette (Size M).
