JimWebber
Help! I am interested in using a virtual LX desk, and am far to poor to buy one. I took a bit of an interest in "Freestyler" I downloaded it, and installed it, and waited with baited breath to see what all the fuss was about... When trying to run the program, I had a message saying "Runtime Error 48 Unable to load DLL" (Or words to that effect). If anyone can suggest what DLL may be missing, where I can get it, and where to put it (Ooohh Errr) I would be very grateful. For information I am running Windows 98 I realise there is a forum on the Freestyler website, but I thought I would ask here first, before registering etc. I would appreciate any help please. Thanks Jim
Dweeks
Use the freestyler one, they're very helpful. Otherwise, downgrade to an older version (also on the website). I found a similar bug when I tried it.

TommyToad
Freestyler dosent use VB, what I know of. Run it at my venue for scanners, works great Would not run it for conventional lights tough, I'm a fader guy.
peternewman
It certainly used VB for the output section a while ago, when support for the Milford Instruments dongle was being implemented. PN
