hah hah, very good dan, I like it. very inventive. this year we are doing things such as play in a day, stars in their eyes, and a musical (not allowed to say what, sworn to secrecyby HoD). we did run a "battle of the bands" last year, but it wasn't as big sucess as we all thought it would be.

We have tried to run a large event (battle of the DJ's) but the school wouldn't give permission.  Others before us have tried to run Discos but have had problems with permission.  We are also going to run a tuck shop (a sure firer winner). Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I know that you want the equipment for the school so you can use it but it really sounds like the school doesn't deserve a pro active student like yourself and your group.

Any school that given a student who wants to improve things, then refuses permission for any fundraising should have its senior mangement hung drawn and quartered.

Go volunteer to help out at your local theatre. better experience and you will do more stuff and use real equipment.

And not spend your time dealing with pig-ignorant educationalists who are apparrently against education.

Please print this reply and show it to your teachers.

(End Rant)
