James
Sorry but I've been thinking and shows put on without sound are the exception rather than the norm now and there's Stu with full vid rig for 40 people and I'm thinking how often is there a show now that doesn't have any video at all - even if it is just a backstage monitor it's playing it's part and some day... Angelic
Don't get me started on that - I've already had three modules on 'The Medium is the Message' rubbish!
James
'The Medium is the Message' ??? Sounds like one of those phrases that I would stand a chance of understanding if I was more awake.
Angelic
Yeah, it's a bunch of crap - an excuse for these artsy fartsy philosophical types to teach students about philosophical stuff like that, when we really want to be learning about how a huge camera works instead. Basically it's stuff like The Matrix - everything's simulated and the real 'messages' being given to people are the mediums through which they are transmitted. Load of philosophical nonsense if you ask me, we don't need to know it, why do they teach it, I don't care about it, thank God I only do a few modules on it! </accidental rant!>
