AVO T3 desk DMX socket fault

I have owned a T3 desk since June 2023 and have had the DMX outputs go faulty 3 times since then. It has been back to AVO each time where they have replaced the boards and it runs fine, but within weeks it repeats the fault.

Is anyone aware of of other owners/users having the same issue?

I've seen some reports of problems with the encoder wheels becoming "gritty" and being replaced. Haven't heard of DMX output problems - is this just from getting plugged and unplugged?

If for some reason you’re shorting the outputs I can see how they might die. You could consider using an optically isolated DMX splitter between your desk and the rest of the rig, for a more user-replaceable buffer?
