Sennheiser Ew100 G3

Hey, I recently got a sennheiser G3 from my school which was waterdamaged, I managed to get it working with a G2 reciever because it didnt come with a reciever. It works just fine however the LCD screen doesnt show anything, when turning on it just lights up yellow and doesn’t project anything. For this reason, I struggle to tune it when some frequencys are in use. Should I replace the LCD or something else. 
 

I recently used it and it was transmitting fine but I have now lost it and cant find what channel the mic is on, when going through all the channels on the reciever, it picks up a strong signal at around 855.600mhz however when I moove it even 5 inches away I loose RF imediatly, the Af channel also seems to spaz out when it connects

Sennheiser do a fixed price repair which costs about £95+VAT including postage. That would be the best way to get the G3 transmitter repaired. I doubt whether anyone here could accurately diagnose the problem without the transmitter in front of them and even then they may not be able to fix it. Sennhieser will be able to fix it.

Possibly worth opening it and making sure the ribbon cable to the screen is properly seated.
