Aurora lighting for village panto

The director of our village panto (it's The Snow Queen) wants a night scene in front of a white gauze roller, with the Northern Lights onto the gauze & a couple of actors DSL&R in spots in front.

I have a couple of cheap Chinese rgb moving heads to spare but not much space or budget for hires. Our main incandescents, 4 led rgbw Pars, & projector are pretty much committed.  I'm buying a small effects unit on Amazon but fear it won't be very bright.

Grateful if anyone has effects  suggestions for a 2 minute scene.

Cheers,

Simon

I'd be looking at projecting a video.
