This role involves working unsociable hours, weekends and Bank holidays. The role is based on-site in Coventry. Salary: £21,000. Interviews will be held the week beginning 11th September. Closing date for applications: 8th September at 6pm The Albany Theatre seeks to appoint a new Technical Assistant (Lighting Bias) to its Technical Department. The Albany is about to open new facilities, adding two acoustically isolated studio theatres, two additional multi-use flexible spaces and a new foyer, bar and café to our existing 630 seat main house theatre. As a technical assistant you will have a demonstratable knowledge of sound, Lighting, AV and counterweight flying systems. Experience working on an ETC Ion XE 20 with both generic and DMX fixtures is desirable. However, experience working on a different lighting desk models is acceptable. This role involves working with both technicians and technical volunteers, so an outward and pleasant disposition is required.
