Stand alone Dante Recorder

Hi all,

I'm looking for a simple multi-channel recording device (really only needs a record and a stop button, and potentially a remaining storage space indicator)

Ideally something self contained that I can pop an ethernet cable from a Dante network into one end and either an SD card or USB stick or similar into the other that I can use as a very simple device to just capture the multitrack audio as a simple backup to run alongside a laptop tracking to a DAW (hope that makes sense)

Is anyone aware of anything that might accomplish this?

Thanks very much,

Martin

Thanks v much, I believe both the Tascam options are only stereo / dual mono, and not capable of multi-track recording.

The JoeCo BBR64 might well be the way forward for this job though (slightly more than I'd hoped to pay, but I've always been impressed with the quality of their stuff in the past)

I'm trying to avoid sticking a desk in due to space constraints and just needing something very simple for the venue to operate by hitting record and stop.

Thanks again

The Tascam DA-6400 is 64 channel, but the idea of being tied to proprietary SSDs doesn't fill me with joy.   Also, it's many, many pennies. (Significantly more than the JoeCo...)

I think the JoeCo BBR64 is the "right" answer, but yeah, not cheap.
