There seems to be a bit of a kerfuffle in some of the punter-based social media about Wicked being cancelled last night due to some backstage issues... Hardly the first show to have some tech problems resulting in a short closure, but I'm a bit insomniacal again tonight and bored, so... 🙂

Some have suggested that it was because the set designer Eugene Lee (who won a Tony for Wicked amongst other designs) but it seems that happened on Feb 6th. And I fail to see why a London show would cancel for that reason, rather than maybe dedicate a performance to the guy.

Google's not giving me much if anything, so anyone have the skinny??
