50mm T bar to fit on a 35mm pole? (or work around to use stands instead of truss)

Hi,

Most of my pars and movers are stored with the clamps fitted ready to hang from the truss.   For some gig it isn't practical to put up a truss and I'd like to use my stands or 35mm and sit a small t bar on them with a mover either side.    All the t bars I can see are 35mm and won't fit my clamps.     I'm probably missing an obvious solution if anyone has suggestions?

35mm to scaff tube adapter - see Powerdrive's website, fit with scaff tube, hang lights from the tube.

You will want good strong stands, not cheap speaker stands with plastic fittings. Windup stands are very useful in this scenario.

This particular fitting will need to be fairly well balanced as the bearig point is quite small and a single bolt with a small round head and through aluminium will wear.

Thank you!    That's perfect.     I see ss&l also have a 50mm t bar for 35mm stands that might work as well so I should be sorted.

Looking at it again, I reckon it will be a lot cheaper to get a stand socket and a half coupler.
