We are looking for a Production Coordinator to work on our December Dance Production, working alongside our resident creative and technical staff. The contract is for 3 weeks, covering two weeks of rehearsal and one week in production at Pavilion Dance South West, full dates below.

The production is a collaboration between several BA undergraduate courses, resident staff and visiting professionals, and one of the key responsibilities of the postholder will be to liaise between these different departments. Working closely with the Artistic Director, Senior Technician and resident academic and technical staff, the Production Coordinator will also act as a key point of contact between the production team and Pavilion Dance South West.

The ideal candidate will have some experience of stage or production management, will be a strong communicator, and will be capable of working independently and using their own initiative. 

Rehearsal Wk1: w/c Mon 14th Nov
Rehearsal Wk2: w/c Mon 21st Nov
Production Wk3: w/c Mon 28th Nov (5 days)

We approximate 8 working days across this date range for the fee advertised.

Fee: £1200 inclusive of VAT and expenses

•    Point of contact for all members of the production company, students and staff
•    Point of contact for performance venue, Pavilion Dance South West
•    Produce production risk assessment, in collaboration with other key production staff
•    Manage schedule and calls in production week 
•    Attend and minute weekly production meetings
•    Work with and mentor students undertaking stage management roles
•    Manage any props and set
•    Organise returns of props and furniture

•    Must have stage or production management experience
•    Full clean driving licence desirable
