Chamsys MagicQ - KlingNet and ADJ Pixie Controllers

I am looking to update and install a new rig in a nightclub. The Control desk is Chamsys MagicQ plus wing.

 

The venue want to go with 26 American DJ Pixie Strip 60. The idea is to map them on a back wall. To control these we need the pixie controller 2000's that run over KlingNet. (you can use ArtNet but need over 4x the units).

 

Not being a Chamsys expert, (I am an Avo person) what additional software / hardware is needed to make this all work. Do you have to run a separate piece of software on the side to make it work?

As Cham Sys doesn't output Kling-Net AFAIK, then the Art-Net or sACN would seem to be the limiting factor if you want to map straight from the desk. The other solution would be running a media server / mapper that does output Kling-Net which is triggered by the desk. Edited by indyld
