recommendations for new cyc lights

im looking to get some new lights to improve the colour on the cyc. the bar is 12ft above the stage and approx 3ft from the cyc. im looking for LED and with the ability to create some effects. any help would be appreciated

At that sort of bar-to-cyc distance, you'd get decent results with some ETC Colorsource Cyc units at a spacing of about 5'. But unless you tell us more about your budget, it's not really possible to make any useful suggestions.

We got some ColorSource Cyc units a bit over a year ago and have found them to be really quite good. Cyc bar is about 3-4' away and the cyc is about 14' top-to-bottom.

 

Very impressed with their range of blues.

Check out the Spotlight CycLED.

 

Throws out a huge amount of light. I only used one to light up a wall about 10 x 8M

They're great units so wanted to put it out there as a suggestion.

I'm not a moderator, and I'm sure one will clarify, but my understanding is that it is allowed so long as it's made clear in the posting that you are a supplier.
