EVL 150 spot moving head

HiNew to these things and have picked up a couple second hand. When I pligged them in they moved around freely but when I tried to DMX them nothing happened. Now they just point at the ceiling doing nothing, how do I get them back to auto mode please? the menue has words as you can see but the led is all numbers.

I'm pretty sure they should automatically go back into auto mode when you remove DMX - have you done that. If they don't work on DMX you might need to use a cable with pins 2+3 swapped over as these lights are from way back when the 3 pin DMX "standard" was a bit variable
