timsabre
So that's an interesting question, is there any difference between say 1080p 25Hz and 1080i 50Hz. I would have thought they were effectively the same thing in these days of non-interlaced displays.
Stuart91
is there any difference between say 1080p 25Hz and 1080i 50Hz. And is any audience member every likely to notice a difference? There's a depressing amount of people who pay for full HD installations and then still run presentations at XGA resolution out of the same old laptops. timsabre
I'm not sure there would be any difference as far as the displayed picture goes. The image data is transmitted to the projector differently as two interlaced fields, but I doubt the projector/TV would do interlace, I would have thought it would just combine the 2 fields back into a full frame display.
