indyld
Chucking a little bit of PVA in with emulsion produces a tougher finish for any number of purposes. I've used it to make sealer, MDF primer, a durable light sheen to a topcoat that wipes down OK etc. Might be worth an experiment.
Stacker
A few years ago I stripped back some steeldeck... Took all the old staples out, rubbed it down a bit to make it smooth and applied some of this paint from B & Q: https://www.diy.com/departments/ronseal-diamond-black-satin-floor-paint-2-5l/128339_BQ.prd (I don't think this was actually the one but similar, it was a black floor paint supposed to be anti slip) and its been spot on ever since! Need to get aroudn to do the other 16 decks...
