simonlean
Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone may be able to help. I'm currently in rehearsals for a show in which we want to change the colour of the water in a clear beaker by dropping in a tablet. The water starts clear and needs to change to bright red as quickly as possible. The director is keen on it being a tablet rather than a drop of food colouring. The water then gets consumed so the solution needs to be edible. So far I have come up with a product called 'Fizzies' which is essentially changes water to soda. The problem is they are not readily available in the UK and having watched some videos, they appear to take a while to colour the water.Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks in advanceSimon

ImagineerTom
For a more magical / scientist result (ie no need to stir) a few drops of red food colouring on an antacid tablet or fizzy soluable vitamin tablet.
