sandall Posted October 22, 2018 Author Share Posted October 22, 2018 Just out of interest where did it snap?Just checked with the "driver" & it was indeed at the cart end, where the stresses would be greatest. I missed the scurry on the Hartland site - that one doesn't seem to have anywhere obvious to attach a pole. The poles come off to get the cart into the back of the horse-box. I agree that it seems like a relatively low direct load on the pole between the horses, the torquing and sideways movement could have done it, or it could have been a steel bolt on the pole that slowly fretted it away etc. I wouldn't be throwing out all the aluminium scaff just yet!
