MA onPC File Import

I have a .csv file containing a load of timecode values which I'd like to import into MA onPC to generate a cue stack to run against timecode. But for the life of me I can't find a button to do the import. Or is it not possible?

Hi

You definitely can't do it on MA1 - for that I am certain.

MA2s have an ASCII show import function, but whether it would be able to read a csv is a bit of a guess; it is pretty smart though.

All the best

You need to covert it to .xml

Drop it into a "importexport" folder within the "gma2" folder on a usb stick.

Select the usb drive tab in backup and then on command line type - import "x" at timecode y

Make sure the name of the filename is in speech marks and does not include the .xml file extension
