Whizzzy
Can anyone help me with a schematic diagram for a Robe 150XT spot please? I have a problem with the encoder / opto sensor failing and need to understand where the supply rail for it is derived from. Thanks in anticipation. KevinE
the encoder supplies are each fed via a 270R resistor off the main 5V rail so you should be able to measure that all the way from the main board to the sensor itself. Usual suspect is the wiring loom. On the 150/160 it rubs through where it passes through the pan bearing. If the lamp wiring chafes as well, it can flash over to random parts of the loom and take out the sensors or the PIC.

Whizzzy
Seems that I was a little premature in my earlier post as the unit has appears to have failed again, even after being on soak test for several hours. So the jury is still out. I'll update the post when I have had chance to examine the unit again. Meantime it would still be very helpful to have a schematic to hand so if anyone can help? timmeh2
Hi To rule out the lamp cable issue you could try firing one up but keeping the lamp doused and see it behaves. All the bestTimmeh
