Rob_P
Hi,I have a show coming up that needs 16 mic channels. As an alternative to buying in short-term extra frequencies for the channels that won't fit in channel 38, I am considering using some older Chanel 69/70 G2 kit in the 826-832MHz band which OFCOM have kindly added to the licence. The kit will tune down to 830MHz so it would give me 2MHz to play with, which should be fine for 4 channels. Has anyone had any problems using this frequency band? Thanks,Rob
TonyMitchell
We have some G2 kit and do this to get two extra channels. Bear in mind you should back away from 832.
Rob_P
Brilliant. Thanks. Is there particular reason to stay away from 832MHz, apart from allowing for the bandwidth of the transmission?
