Hal9000
hi all.. I have to install 4 neon signs in an art gallery right now, but the signs have come over from the states, and their transformer secondaries are rated at 15kv Some contractor just came out and said that any neon transformer above 10kv has been outlawed... Can anyone clarify this? I've searched online and I can't find adamn thing about it, just lots of case mods and undercar neons rubbish Any help appreciated. Brian
What'll help you is to know that the correct name for these is 'high voltage luminous tube signs'. Stick that in google with a 'uk' and there is loads of good stuff.
