Senior Technician

Contract: Full-time, fixed term (9 months)

 

Salary:£29,373 - £35,249 p.a. pro-rata (Including LWA)

The Senior Technician is a key member of the ProductionDepartment for the Faculty of Dance. The post holder will lead on the practicalwork and day-to-day organisation of the department, implementation of healthand safety policy and the routine maintenance of technical equipment. Alongsidethis, they will supervise the technical team, ensuring the highest quality oftechnical presentation for all participatory and presented work within theConservatoire's performance spaces and, where relevant, alternative spaces.

 

The post holder will participate in financial accounting procedures and departmental administration, liaising effectively with internal and external personnel, including: Trinity Laban Faculties and Departments, Faculty of Dance Component/Module and Programme Leaders, and Transitions Dance Company.

 

The Senior Technician will work closely with the Head of Production and with all members of the team, reporting directly to the Head of Production who is responsible for the strategic direction, overall planning and management of the Production Department.

 

Flexible working will be required with regular evening and week-end work as needed. TOIL is accrued in lieu of overtime payments.
