  1. Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is a forward thinking, contemporary and world-class Higher Education Institution with a vision to redefine the conservatoire for the 21st century. At the leading edge of music and dance training, it provides specialist education of the highest quality, which reflects the increasingly collaborative world of artistic practice and supports the lifelong career development of students and professional performing artists. An opportunity has become available to work in this dynamic, creative and engaging environment. We are seeking an experienced Sound and Audio-Visual Technician to be a key player in our busy production team. The Production department is based in the Faculty of Dance, at the Laban Theatre, and supports educational programmes, visiting professional productions and artists, and some commercial events. An integral part of the production team, you will take a lead role in the presentation of performance work and assessments across venues and site-specific locations. You will engage in team operations, provide technical assistance across all disciplines, including lighting, stage and flys. The post holds responsibility for all sound and audio-visual control equipment across our venues and performance spaces; including the Laban Theatre, Studio Theatre and Performance Lab. This also encompasses the management of Dante and communication networks. Although predominantly engaged with Dance student and professional performance work, the team also support Musical Theatre and Music students. We are looking for a creative individual, keen to work with staff, students and professionals alike; to provide advice and offer practical solutions that enable the realisation of imaginative projects. The role also shares responsibility for the training and supervision of two Production Graduate Interns. As an equal opportunities employer we positively encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity. Please note all applications submitted will be shortlisted anonymously by our recruiting panel, so please ensure that your name and personal details are not included to the supporting statement, otherwise we will not be able to consider your application. For any queries about this role that are not covered in the job pack, please email Katerina Filosofopoulou, our People Services and Resourcing Officer on staffrecruitment@trinitylaban.ac.uk.
