RetroIsland
Need a HDMI 2 wireless transmitter which will support 1080p at 120Hz with almost no lag. Currently have a Nyrius Aries that can do 1080p at 60Hz with literally zero lag. Any recommendations?
jason5d
Have a look at the teradek range https://teradek.com/
RetroIsland
Thank you. But arent all Teradek products for live streaming? They are pretty cool but overkill for this. Just need a wifi transmitter and receiver (one input and 1 outut devices).
jason5d
No, have a look at the teradek bolt range. You said "1080p at 120Hz with almost no lag", lower cost will give you a bigger delay. It sounds like the Nyrius Aries you have is pretty good for the money.
RetroIsland
Okay, 500ft range or 150 meters is overkill for my use. Sorry I didnt mention my use case but I mentioned Im fine with Nuryus Aries and that is for home use.I agree for 150 meters the price is nice but I just dont need that much. Joe Fernand
'HDMI' devices tend to not support 120Hz - end user kit will support 120 Hz but only as a 3D signal. A few (very few) folk have reported being able to output 1080p at 120Hz with some Graphic Card/Monitor combinations via HDMI - I doubt they had a wireless device in the signal path. Joe PS As far as I can see Teradek kit is 1080p at 60Hz too.
RetroIsland
HDMI v2 adds 120fps at 1080p support. Some DLP projectors support it.
