2D CAD - Which One?

I agree with draftsight, there is a slight problem when opening in autocad however, it has more to do with scale than anything else especially when printing, I can never remember which way round it goes but say drawing in 1:25 on draftsight I think you have to select 25:1 in autocad or maybe the other way round, both will open the other's .dwg files, another free one fairly easy to use is progecad from progesoft, unfortunately it does not work in windows 10 not sure about other systems. The problem I have found with sketchup is that it does not transfer accuracy when importing or exporting .dwg files so best to check dimensions after exporting and opening in any autocad type program
