USB C to Ethercon

bit of a long shot, but thought I'd try anyway...

 

New laptop doesn't have an ethernet port so I'm looking to buy a USB C to Ethernet dongle, when I wondered if I could find one with a proper Ethercon connection to save me having to unscrew the ends of cables all the time.

 

I've had a little search around but so far can't find one... does anyone know if such a thing exists?

I doubt it exists as the market size would be pretty small, but I have seen people make their own by putting a standard dongle in a project box and fitting panel mount ethercon and USB. Has the advantage of making it a bit harder to lose.

A normal USB C to RJ45 with an Ethercon barrel? Pretty sure Neutrik don't make a flying cable socket.

Was gonna say - buy an RJ45 to ethercon patch lead of someone like VDC or Direct Cable Systems and then an ethercon coupler/barrel

I have about 6 of these and they are very hand to get out of holes with ethercon and stander JR45 sockets.
