Zero88 leapfrog

Evening all,

 

I'm doing some work in a high school soon and they have a zero 88 leapfrog desk.I've never used one. Can anyone give me a quick lowdown on recording scenes etc with movers/generics please?

Is it an original Leapfrog with diskette drive or a later Leapfrog 48 / Leapfrog 96 as they look very similar but are different animals?

Hi Taylord,

 

Yes as Vinntec says if its an original LeapFrog running FrogOS, then you will be limited to 24 fixtures plus 24 dimmer channels, whereas the new Leapfrog 48 & 96 allow up to 200 fixtures plus 48 & 96 dimmer channels.

They are easy to tell apart once you know the name was used more than once (slapped hand for whoever at Zero 88 is responsible).
