Ynot
On the lookout for a small number of suitable statues for use in the witch's courtyard in LWW in the autumn. Ideally NOT proper stone or heavy material ones, to be honest for obvious reasons (not least of all being speedy changes required).Has anyone used any or have any contacts for supply/hire? andy_s
Have you tried Peter Evans vacform? I can't say for sure, but worth a quick look at their website.
cedd
Chat to In Another Place - They were the first people to stage The Narnia Experience in Liverpool - a walk through production that we then adapted and performed in Leeds. We hired their set and then modified and added to it. There are some photos of them in this photo album Here from our production - just over half way down the page in the Witch's castle. The statues are all theirs and are made from a modroc type material. They're not super-heavy. Definitely a one person carry each. Certainly lighter than stone! Most of the actual buildings and props are theirs. We still own some of the costumes and Aslan himself. Anything you need that you see in the pictures, just shout. Ynot
I'd forgotten about that! Thought it looked pretty good when I looked before when it was running.Have dropped Another Place a quick mail to enquire, thanks. And the Aslan costume might fit the bill, too. :)Cheers
