IA76
Hi Our mixer has one USB output which we connect to a laptop for recording. We need to connect this USB output to another laptop as well so is there any way of using one USB output on 2 laptops?

peza2010
What are you trying to do that makes you think you need to split it to two laptops? There might be a easier solution if you can give details of what you are trying to do.
IA76
The mixer is a Beringer QX???? We use a laptop for recording the audio and have another pc we use for video streaming and wanted to use teh USB audio on both as the sound quality is very good. timsabre
You can't, basically. As David suggests get a usb soundcard and plug it into the desk line outs, it won't sound any different to the desk usb out.
Bobbsy
Something relatively inexpensive like the Behringer UCA202 or UCA222 could connect to the 2-track outputs of your mixer and feed USB to the second computer. This would leave the main outs free for other uses.

(although I think the 2-track output is also identical to the main out)And I would strongly suspect that inside the desk you would find that the USB circuit is identical to the UCA202.
