2 GLD 80 Desks FOH and Monitor

HI,

 

How can I connect 2 A&H GLD 80 consoles together for use as a FOH desk and a Monitor desk with the one stage box.

I want to do this without using analog splitters.

Hi, Adam,

 

You can do this with A&H Dante cards or A&H ACE cards fitted to the GLD, but these aren't cheap. The most inputs you are likely to achieve at stage is with an AR2412 and an AB1608, so you might want to consider whether an analogue split might be more cost effective or not?

 

The good thing about their stageboxes is that you just plug them in, they work and you choose which inputs to use. The not so good thing is they are not flexible, deployable in any order or sharable.
