So, this thread probably caused me some confusion!

 

 

I got a message to say there was a parcel to collect from the post room. Went down there, and found the box containing the base. Looked around for the rest of it but couldn't find it. The booking in sheet said one item to sign for, so, thinking I knew what had happened, I went to phone CPC. They looked it up, and said two parcels had been delivered at the same time. So back to the post room, for more searching. Eventually I found it - being long and thin, somebody had stood it up in the corner next to the broom! So not CPC's fault at all, but ours.

 

Packaging for the upright part was just jiffy-bag type thing on each end, all wrapped in plastic sheet, so not well protected IMHO, though this one arrived without damage.

Whilst I am still waiting their latest response, and still don't have the new stand at all...!!

We probably get 2 CPC orders per week on average. The trade team are great on the phone. Only issue we had was a very large battery order arrived having been dropped a good few times and not sensibly packed into smaller boxes. (2000 AA batteries are a bit heavy!)
